SPANDA, a Sanskrit term referring to the primordial vibration that gives rise to form and movement, lends its name to Pía Carregal's new collection. Inspired by this concept, the collection explores the relationship between creative intuition, artisanal craftsmanship, and materiality.

The starting point of the project is the construction of form through the gesture of the hand. Each garment is developed using draping, folds, and organic textures created directly on the dress form, allowing the fabric itself to play an active role in shaping the silhouette.

The collection primarily features natural silk chiffon and velvet, selected for their fluid movement and responsiveness to handcraft. Every piece is conceived as an exploration of volume and texture, where form emerges from the inherent behavior of the fabric itself. The color palette revolves around moss green, coral hues, dusty rose, and deep plum, reinforcing the collection's organic and tactile identity.

In SPANDA, design is understood as a process in which intuition, emotion, and material converge. Each garment reveals the human gesture and the artisanal nature of its making, proposing a vision in which form is not imposed, but rather emerges from the dialogue between the hand, the body, and the material.
